Welcome! Our church is a place where everyone is invited to discover who God is. Here at First Christian, we are a place where people of all backgrounds can experience a God who is real and relevant in their lives today.
Join us for worship in the church sanctuary or on Facebook Live on Sunday at 9:00 AM.
Starting Sunday, November 29th FCC will offer TWO weekly worship experiences.
9:00 AM iWORSHIP: digital worship on Facebook Live
11:00 AM Sanctuary Worship: in-person worship with carols and hymns
All are welcome here.

Saying YES to God-sized dreams!
Church can be an intimidating place to visit - especially if you don't know what to expect. We invite you to experience what the gospel means both intellectually and relationally at one of our Sunday worship services. You can engage with others and find ways for your whole family to connect. We hope that visiting with us allows you to experience the hope, love, and joy that comes from a community of people who love Jesus.
We look for God's love in our lives as evidence that we have been truly worshiping God.
At First Christian, communion is at the heart of our worship. Our table is open and we believe that ALL are welcome!
Sundays 9:00 -10:00 AM in the church sanctuary.
Plan Your Visit: Email Rev. T.J. Shoop-York for more information and to help us best plan to meet you before worship.
Free childcare is available during Sunday Worship.
We are the red brick church located at 29 N. Oakes, downtown near Shannon Hospital.
Our parking lots are located off College St between Oakes and Chadbourne.
Although there are several entrances into the church, the best entrance is in the rear by the playground.
We are proud of our historical building though it can cause challenges for first-time guests; if you get turned around, just ask a greeter for help.
