Sunday School

Every Sunday from 10:00 to 11:00 am we offer a number of Sunday school classes:

  • Children's Class - Pre-School to 5th grade located in the Children's Hallway on the first floor. 
  • Open Door Class - Varied in ages and is located on the second floor.
  • Koinonia Class- Varied in ages and is located on the second floor. 
  • The Seekers- Varied in ages and is located in the library on the first floor. 
  • Goldston Class- Senior adults and is located on the second floor.

Also, throughout the year we offer stand alone classes that last 3 to 6 weeks and include Bible study, art making, mission work, book studies, and much more. 

Youth (grades 6th-12th) are encouraged to attend Sunday school with their parents as our  primary programming for youth takes place on Wednesday night.

On Wednesday nights during the school year, we serve a free community meal from 5:30-6:00 pm followed by age-appropriate gatherings from 6:00-7:00 pm (children, youth, and adults).

Table talks

During the spring and fall semesters, intergenerational groups of 7-12 gather for a meal. We believe when church families sit around a table together, more meaningful relationships are formed.

Young Adults

Once a month, young adults age 25 to 40 gathers at a downtown restaurant for food and happy hour. 

40's and 50's

Once a month, adults in their 40's and 50's gather at someone's home to share food and fellowship. 

Women's Group

Throughout the year, women of First Christian meet for bible study, mission projects, and fellowship. 

Book Club

Each quarter, a small group gathers on a Sunday afternoon in the church parlor to discuss a recent book and to choose their next read.
